Mariama J. Krubally is a Gambian with over 10 years of professional experience in higher education administration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia. She is also involved in academia and serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of The Gambia.

Mariama works with various voluntary organisations, especially those related to the environment and climate change, and currently serves as a Board Director of the West Coast Climate Action Network of British Columbia, located in Canada. Mariama is serving her second term on the board of PACKs Africa and is excited for the opportunity.

She loves arts and crafts, tree-planting exercises, and activism. She is a wife and a mother, always striving to be exemplary and inspiring to the youth, especially women and girls.
